Description

Indulge in the delightful flavors of this White Chocolate-Strawberry Tiramisu, a no-bake dessert that combines the richness of white chocolate with the freshness of strawberries in a delicious twist on the classic Italian treat.

Ingredients

Scale

For the White Chocolate Mascarpone Filling:

  • 8 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Strawberry Layer:

  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry preserves
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Additional:

  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Additional sliced strawberries and white chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  2. Whip the Cream: Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks in a separate bowl.
  3. Prepare the Mascarpone Filling: In a large bowl, beat the softened mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in the melted white chocolate, then gently fold in the whipped cream until fully combined.
  4. Make the Strawberry Syrup: In a small bowl, stir together the strawberry preserves, water, and lemon juice to create a dipping syrup.
  5. Assemble the Tiramisu: Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the syrup and layer half of them in the bottom of a 9×9-inch dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, followed by a layer of sliced strawberries. Repeat with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and strawberries.
  6. Chill and Garnish: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set. Before serving, garnish with additional strawberries and white chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can infuse the strawberry syrup with a splash of Grand Marnier or strawberry liqueur.
  • Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best results.
