Description

This White Chocolate Mint Fudge recipe combines creamy white chocolate with refreshing peppermint for a delightful treat. Easy to make with just a few ingredients, this fudge is perfect for holidays or anytime you crave a sweet, minty indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Green food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baking dish: Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper to ensure easy removal of the fudge after it sets.
  2. Melt the butter: Place a saucepan on low heat and gently melt the 1/2 cup unsalted butter until fully liquefied, taking care not to brown it.
  3. Add white chocolate and condensed milk: Stir in 2 cups of white chocolate chips and 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk into the melted butter. Continue stirring over low heat until the mixture is completely melted and smooth with no lumps.
  4. Flavor and color the mixture: Remove the saucepan from heat. Mix in 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract and 1/4 teaspoon of salt to enhance flavor. If desired, add a few drops of green food coloring and stir until evenly distributed.
  5. Set and chill: Pour the smooth fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish. Place it in the refrigerator and chill for about 2 hours or until the fudge is firm and set. Once set, cut into approximately 16 squares and serve.

Notes

  • Line the baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal and cleaner cuts.
  • Use low heat when melting to prevent burning the chocolate.
  • Adjust peppermint extract to taste; start with 1 teaspoon and add more if a stronger mint flavor is desired.
  • Green food coloring is optional but adds a festive touch.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
