Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan or springform pan.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the sour cream and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Prepare Fruit: In a small bowl, toss the diced strawberries and peaches with 1 tablespoon of flour to prevent them from sinking.
- Combine Batter: Gently fold the fruit into the batter. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
