Description
These Spider Web Pretzels are a fun and easy Halloween treat that kids will love making and eating. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create spooky and delicious snacks that are perfect for parties or as a festive snack at home.
Ingredients
Scale
Pretzel Webs:
- 24 mini pretzel sticks
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
- 12 mini chocolate chips or candy eyeballs
- 6 small chocolate or plastic spider decorations (optional)
- black decorating gel (optional)
- parchment paper
Instructions
- Prepare the Pretzel Webs: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange 4 pretzel sticks in a star shape to form the base of each web, making 6 webs total.
- Melt the White Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
- Pipe the Webs: Transfer the melted chocolate to a piping bag or a zip-top bag with the tip cut off. Starting from the center of each pretzel star, pipe concentric circles of white chocolate, connecting the pretzel sticks to form a web shape.
- Add Decorations: While the chocolate is still soft, place a mini chocolate chip or candy eyeball in the center of each web. Optionally, add a small spider decoration or pipe a tiny spider using black decorating gel.
- Set and Serve: Let the webs sit at room temperature or refrigerate for about 10-15 minutes until fully set. Carefully peel off the parchment and serve.
Notes
- Use dark or milk chocolate for the webs if desired.
- Kids will enjoy decorating their own spooky pretzel webs with candy eyes and creepy crawlies.
