Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Form Dough: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and coat each ball in granulated sugar.
- Bake: Place the dough balls on the baking sheets and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly golden. Press a chocolate Kiss into the center of each cookie immediately after removing from the oven.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
