Description

Indulge in the delightful fusion of a peach pie and a muffin with these Peach Pie Cruffins. These flaky pastries are filled with sweet peach pie filling and a hint of cinnamon, making them a perfect treat for any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale

Dough:

  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough or puff pastry sheet

Filling:

  • 1 cup canned peach pie filling, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 6-cup muffin tin. If using crescent roll dough, seal the seams and roll out into a sheet.
  2. Assemble: Brush with butter, spread peach filling, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Roll and Slice: Roll dough, cut into pieces, and place in muffin cups.
  4. Bake: Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden.
  5. Serve: Cool, dust with powdered sugar, and enjoy warm.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, drizzle with vanilla glaze instead of powdered sugar.
  • Fresh peaches can be used if slightly cooked with sugar before adding to the dough.
