Ingredients
Scale
Soft Serve Base
- 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
- 8 oz frozen whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip)
- 3 tbsp honey (or 2 tbsp sugar)
- 6 oz pineapple juice
Instructions
- Add Ingredients: Place the frozen pineapple chunks, whipped topping, honey (or sugar), and pineapple juice into a high-speed blender or food processor.
- Blend: Process the mixture until smooth and creamy. If the ingredients stick to the sides, stop and scrape down to ensure even blending.
- Adjust Consistency: If the mixture is too thick, gradually add pineapple juice, one tablespoon at a time, blending after each addition until you reach the desired soft serve texture.
- Serve or Freeze: Enjoy immediately for a soft-serve consistency, or transfer to a container and freeze for 1-2 hours to firm up the texture if preferred firmer ice cream.
- Scoop and Enjoy: Scoop out the ice cream and serve as a refreshing dessert.
Notes
- For a vegan version, use a dairy-free whipped topping.
- Adjust sweetness to taste by varying honey or sugar amount.
- If pineapple chunks are not firm enough, freeze longer to achieve better texture.
- Use fresh pineapple juice or canned juice without added sugars for best flavor.
- Serve immediately for a creamy, soft texture or frozen for a traditional firmer ice cream texture.
