Description

A flavorful and easy Herb Roasted Turkey Tenderloin recipe featuring tender turkey tenderloins coated in a fragrant herb and garlic marinade, roasted to juicy perfection. This dish is perfect for a healthy and delicious main course that’s ready in under an hour.

Ingredients

Scale

Turkey Tenderloin

  • 2 turkey tenderloins (about 1½ pounds total)

Marinade and Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or sheet pan to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Turkey: Pat the turkey tenderloins dry with paper towels to ensure even browning and place them in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Make Herb Marinade: In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, dried rosemary, dried thyme, dried parsley, paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Stir thoroughly to create a well-blended herb marinade.
  4. Coat Turkey: Rub the herb marinade evenly over all sides of the turkey tenderloins, making sure they are fully coated with the mixture for maximum flavor.
  5. Roast Turkey: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and roast for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) to ensure the turkey is cooked through.
  6. Rest and Serve: Remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute. Slice the tenderloins, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, and serve.

Notes

  • For enhanced flavor, marinate the turkey in the herb mixture for up to 4 hours in the refrigerator before roasting.
  • This recipe pairs wonderfully with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
