Cauliflower Bites:
- 1 medium head cauliflower (cut into bite-sized florets)
Batter:
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Coating:
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- optional: chopped parsley and dipping sauce for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, water, and olive oil until smooth.
- Coat cauliflower: Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, then roll in the breadcrumbs to coat.
- Bake: Arrange the coated florets on the baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2–3 minutes of baking.
