- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (for slurry)
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Toss chicken with cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Fry in batches until crispy.
- Make the Sauce: Combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, sugar, and water. Set aside.
- Cook the Dish: Stir-fry garlic, ginger, and chilies. Add sauce and thicken with cornstarch slurry. Toss in fried chicken.
