Chicken:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

Sauce:

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cheese Topping:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese

Garnish:

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Pasta: Cook penne pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. Cook Chicken: Brown chicken in olive oil until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
