  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pound and Season Chicken: Pound chicken breasts to even thickness and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge Chicken: Lightly dredge chicken in flour, shaking off excess.
  3. Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet. Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Make Sauce: Melt remaining butter in the skillet. Sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth, simmer, then stir in cream and Parmesan. Cook until sauce thickens.
  5. Finish Dish: Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer briefly to reheat. Garnish with parsley and serve.
