- 3/4 cup quick-cooking tapioca pearls

- Simple syrup or sweetener of your choice
- 1/2 cup sugar (for making simple syrup)
Instructions
- Brew the Tea: Steep 8 black tea bags in 4 cups of hot water for 5-7 minutes to extract a rich, aromatic flavor. Remove the tea bags once steeped.
- Cook Tapioca Pearls: Following package instructions, boil the 3/4 cup quick-cooking tapioca pearls in 1/2 cup of water until they become translucent and chewy, approximately 5-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Make Simple Syrup: Combine 1/2 cup sugar with an equal amount of water in a saucepan and heat gently until the sugar dissolves completely. Allow to cool.
- Assemble the Bubble Tea: In serving glasses, add the cooked tapioca pearls and pour the brewed tea over them. Adjust the amount of pearls to your preference.
- Add Milk and Sweetener: Pour in whole milk or your preferred alternative milk and add simple syrup or your favorite sweetener to taste. Stir gently to mix all the ingredients well.
