- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup water
For the Dough:
- 3/4 cup warm milk (110°F)
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Oil for deep frying

- Make the Curry Filling: Heat oil and sauté onions, add meat, potatoes, carrots, and seasonings. Thicken with flour and water. Cool.
- Prepare the Dough: Combine milk and yeast, add sugar, egg, butter, flour, and salt. Knead, rise for 1 hour.
- Assemble and Fry: Divide dough, fill with curry mixture, shape, coat in egg and breadcrumbs, then fry until golden brown.
Notes
- Bake at 375°F for 15–18 minutes for a lighter version.
- Use leftover curry for filling.
