- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter (cut into cubes)
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- Optional coarse sugar for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and prepare baking sheet: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the dough: In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients. Cut in cold butter, then add cranberries. In a separate bowl, combine wet ingredients. Add wet mixture to dry ingredients and mix gently.
- Shape and bake: Turn dough onto a floured surface, shape into a round, cut into wedges, and place on the baking sheet. Sprinkle with coarse sugar and bake for 16–20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
