Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture.
  4. Add dry ingredients: Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until a thick dough forms.
