Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Sheets: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Cookie Dough: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract, and mix until combined. Stir in dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
