Chicken:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
Sauce:
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 green onions, sliced
- sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
- Make Sauce: Sauté ginger and garlic, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili garlic sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and black pepper. Simmer for 1–2 minutes.
- Combine: Return chicken to the pan, toss in the sauce, cook for another 1–2 minutes. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve: Hot with rice or noodles.
Notes
- For extra heat, add crushed red pepper or more chili garlic sauce.
- This recipe is also delicious with tofu or shrimp.
