  • 23 tablespoons heavy cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Beat the Butter: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add Sugar: Gradually add powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well on low speed after each addition. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  3. Flavor and Mix: Add vanilla extract, salt, and 2 tablespoons of heavy cream or milk. Beat on medium-high speed for 2–3 minutes until the frosting is light, fluffy, and spreadable.
  4. Adjust Consistency: If the frosting is too thick, add more cream 1 teaspoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
