Lasagna:

  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained

Buffalo Chicken Mixture:

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup Buffalo wing sauce

Ricotta Mixture:

  • 1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Cheese Layers:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)

Garnish:

  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Prepare Chicken: In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken with Buffalo wing sauce.
  3. Prepare Ricotta Mixture: In a separate bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Layering: Spread chicken mixture in dish, layer with noodles, ricotta mixture, chicken mixture, mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Repeat layers, top with cheese.
  5. Bake: Cover with foil, bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil, bake additional 15-20 minutes until golden. Let rest before serving. Garnish with green onions.

Notes

  • For a milder version, mix Buffalo sauce with ranch dressing.
  • Rotisserie chicken can be used for convenience.
  • Serve with celery sticks or a green salad on the side.
