Description

These Big Mac Tacos are a fun and delicious twist on traditional tacos, featuring all the flavors of a classic Big Mac in a convenient handheld form. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a party appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Tacos:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional for topping)
  • Nonstick spray or oil for cooking

For the Big Mac Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped pickles
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Big Mac Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together all the sauce ingredients until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
  3. Warm the Tortillas: Wipe the skillet clean and lightly spray with nonstick spray. Heat the tortillas in the skillet until warm and slightly crisp.
  4. Shape the Tacos: Press the cooked tortillas into taco shell shapes using a taco rack or muffin tin, or fold them gently into a taco shape while warm and let cool slightly to hold their form.
  5. Assemble the Tacos: Fill each taco with a layer of ground beef, shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced onions, chopped pickles, and a drizzle of Big Mac sauce. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  6. Serve: Serve the Big Mac Tacos immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • To make these even more authentic, lightly toast the tortillas with a sprinkle of sesame seeds before shaping.
  • Great for parties or quick weeknight dinners.
