Description

These homemade Baked Chicken Nuggets are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and so much healthier than fried nuggets. They are easy to make and perfect for a family-friendly meal.

Chicken Nuggets:

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Breadcrumb Coating:

  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Additional:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat with cooking spray.
  2. Prepare coating stations: In separate bowls, set up stations for flour, egg mixture, and breadcrumb coating.
  3. Coat the chicken: Dip each chicken piece in flour, then egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Bake: Place the coated nuggets on the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil or cooking spray, and bake for 18-20 minutes.
